INFORMATION
YOUR FIRST DANIELS CABLEVISION BILL. Your first CABLEVISION bill is prorated covering the period from the first day of your connection to the end of the billing cycle and the next full month of service. CABLEVISION services are billed one month in advance excluding Pay-Per-View, so any time changes are made, the charges will appear on your next bill.
YOUR MONTHLY BILL. Your Cablevision bill is due according to your billing cycle. We have two billing cycles. The first billing cycle is from the 1st to the end of the month and payments are due by the 10th of the month. The second billing cycle is the 10th of the month to the 9th of the following month and payments are due by the 20th of the month. Cycles are determined by the franchise area. A $5.00 late charge will be assessed 45 days from the date your billing statement is generated. A late charge will not be assessed earlier than 14 days after monthly service charges have been rendered. By assessing these charges, it will place the burden of these expenses on the persons responsible for incurring them. If payment is not received within 60 days from the due date, service could be disconnected. Should this occur, a restart charge of $15.00, (if within 48 hours), the outstanding balance and one month in advance payment is required to reinstate your service. Payments received after the closing date will not be posted in time to avoid a past due notice. Accounts that are disconnected with an outstanding balance will be sent to collections for processing and will be charged an additional $5.50 processing charge. Continued subscription to cable television service with Daniels Cablevision, Inc. implies agreement to and understanding of these policies.
RETURNED CHECK PROCEDURE. On the first occurrence of a returned check, there is a $15.00 returned check charge. The fee for a second occurrence is $20.00. This includes any and all checks posted to the customer's account. Replacement funds must be in the form of cash, cashiers check or money order. The name holder on account is liable for the returned item.
DIRECT PAYMENT (SimplePay). Your monthly bill will automatically be paid on the due date by an electronic withdrawal from your checking or savings account as soon as a written authorization is provided. If your account has insufficient funds on the due date, a second attempt will be made within 2-3 days. Our regular collection procedures apply to SimplePay accounts. The SimplePay service will be discontinued after a payment is returned unpaid twice in a 12 month period.
REFUNDS. Refunds are issued within 30 days (or the next billing cycle, whichever is earlier).
NOTICE CONCERNING MONITORING. For training and quality control purposes, samplings of telephone calls to our Customer Service Department between Daniels Cablevision representatives and customers are recorded and monitored, without notice to the customer or to the representative, by supervisory or management personnel.
